Media Blasting

Abrasive blasting, commonly referred to as sand blasting, is used to clean and remove paint and other coatings and to prepare metal parts prior to Melonite/QPQ Salt Bath Nitriding.  Small to very large parts requiring media blasting are processed in blasting cabinets or in our blast room (12’W x 8’H x 31’L). 

Environmentally mindful, when appropriate spent media is directed to a collection device, cleaned of waste material and reused.  

We offer various blast medias including, steel grit, aluminum oxide, glass bead, and baking soda.
